Emerging wings franchise makes industry headlines after closing a deal that will bring 6 new hoots wings locations to the East coast
Industry publications, QSR Magazine and RestaurantNews, recently shared the news of hoots wings’ newest franchise agreement which will bring 6 new locations to Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This expansion comes directly behind the brand’s announcement of a 60 -unit deal in Texas and plans to reach 100 new locations across the U.S. by 2024. As the second franchise agreement signed since the launch of our franchise opportunity late last year, this deal allows 40-year restaurant industry veteran, Phillip Moran to help accelerate our growth efforts on the east coast.
Moran was the first franchise partner for our sibling brand, Hooters franchise, in 1990. Since then he has grown to 30 restaurants and is now taking his efforts to the east coast. “Hooters put wings on the map – it has a 35-plus year history of the best wings on the planet,” says Moran. “With Hooters backing and a fast, easily prepared and delivered best-selling product as its base, hoots wings is set up for success.”
Jersey City, NJ is the first community to expect to see a hoots wings thanks to Moran, followed by Providence, RI, King of Prussia, PA, Newark, NJ, Hoboken, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ. “Phillip is an industry veteran who understands not only the brand but also the excitement that surrounds hoots wings,” says Sal Melilli, CEO of HOA Brands. “He knows the value of hoots’ diverse menu and is ready to bring it to east coast communities where he has spent over 20 years growing Hooters’ presence. Northern New Jersey has a large population of loyal Hooters customers and wing enthusiasts, and we’re excited to bring hoots wings to this community.”
